Annual Retreat of NIH’s Graduate Partnerships Program — On August 2, 2019, I offered opening remarks for the annual retreat of NIH’s Graduate Partnerships Program. This year’s theme was, “The Science Behind Team Building and Teamwork.” Here, I joined some of the graduate students and summer interns to talk a little more about team building. The day-long retreat was held at the Smithsonian National Zoo, Washington, D.C. It was sponsored by NIH’s Office of Intramural Training & Education (OITE), a division of the Office of Intramural Research (OIR). Credit: Philip Wang.
