Drawings of the stages of interlocking graph tissue with wounded tissue using this new spiny adhesive

The three stages of adhesion are depicted. First, the spiny adhesive goes through the graft into the wound bed. Second, the swollen spine creates a mechanical interlocking between the graft and the wound bed. Third, the graph has fully adhered to the tissue and can be removed.
