Applauding a Japan-US Research Partnership

Posted on by Dr. Francis Collins

I was honored to take part in a symposium commemorating 30 years of the Human Frontier Science Program (HFSP) on May 10, 2019. Among the many dignitaries joining me at the Japanese Embassy in Washington, DC, were Makoto Suematsu, president of Japan’s Agency for Medical Research and Development (left), and Warwick Anderson, HFSP’s secretary-general (center).
