Francis Collins and NIH leadership participate in a groundbreaking ceremony for the Center for Cellular Engineering on the NIH campus
A ceremonial groundbreaking took place on January 22, 2019 at the NIH Clinical Center. The facility’s Cell Processing Section will be expanded into the Center for Cellular Engineering. Joining me in the ceremonial groundbreaking are several members of the NIH leadership and special guest Brett Giroir (standing next to me, right), assistant secretary for health at the Department of Health and Human Services.
